He relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 17 in order to pursue a musical career. In 2015, he released his first mixtape, “Lil Peep Part One.”

Despite his strong academics, he disliked going to school because he was an introvert. He first went to “Lindell Elementary School,” then transferred to “Long Beach High School.”

He adopted “Lil Peep” as his alias when he was in Los Angeles. He was influenced by underground artists like the rapper iLoveMakonnen and the group “Seshhollowwaterboyz.”

Within a few months of arriving to Los Angeles, he ran out of savings and went without a roof for a few nights.

When he was in New York, he had a large social media following, and as soon as he arrived in Los Angeles, he began meeting these people one by one.

Things improved as he connected with rappers like Ghostemane and Craig Xen as well as music producer JGRXXN.

Within a few months, Lil Peep joined the group known as “Schemaposse.” Lil Peep released his debut mixtape, “Lil Peep Part One,” on “SoundCloud” in 2015 with the help of his new gang.

Only 4,000 times were played on the record in its first week due to the lacklustre reception it garnered. However, when the number of “hits” grew, it began to pick up speed.

Lil Peep had previously stated that he had a difficult upbringing and had always been an outcast. He got the word “CryBaby” tattooed on his face since he was frequently depressed.

His manager discovered him dead in the tour bus on November 15, 2017. He was scheduled to give a performance in Tucson, Arizona. He had used cocaine, marijuana, and a number of other drugs.

Around five o’clock in the evening, he had gone to take a nap in the bus. When his manager twice checked on him, his breathing was normal.

However, the manager discovered Lil Peep had stopped breathing following the third attempt to wake him up. An extensive investigation established that the death was brought on by a narcotics overdose.
