His family owned the Keeso Sawmill Company, which they also operated. Jared’s parents’ names are Anne and Richard Keeso.

The Keeso sawmill company, was founded in 1872. Keeso spent several years working in the sawmill but it got destroyed by a fire on September 9, 2018.

He had also spent his childhood with his two siblings, Abilgal Keeso and Alan Keeso. During his early years, he used to play junior hockey.
